2026 Quarter 1 Newsletter

I’m excited (and truly honored) to be serving as your 2026-2027 NKBA Puget Sound Chapter President. Thank you for the warm welcome and for being part of such a talented and supportive group of professionals who somehow make tile, appliances, plumbing, cabinetry, and design trends sound like perfectly normal dinner conversation. I will never forget when I first started in the industry, I told the person selling me a car that I could easily fit 2 toilets in the trunk.
He said that was the first time he'd heard that.
Our council is already working on upcoming programs and events designed to keep you informed, inspired, and maybe even slightly ahead of the next design trend.
If you’ve thought about getting more involved, this is your sign. Join a committee, attend an event, or simply introduce yourself to someone new. NKBA works best when members show up and share their ideas (and occasionally their snack stash).
A big thank you to our council, chairs, volunteers, sponsors, and industry partners who help make everything happen behind the scenes. Nothing happens without you.
Keep an eye out for upcoming events, and I hope to see you soon.
Warm regards,
Amy Olson
