President's Report

Happy Spring!  We get teased with a warm, sunny day and then return back to cool spring showers.  Just longing for those wonderful Pacific NW summer days!

A reminder that Design Competition Entries have ended, but the People's Choice Awards voting beings Friday May 16th.  The Gala Committee is diligently planning yet another smashing Gala for June 26^th at The Ruins.  Please plan to join us for an evening of “Veiled in Design, A Masquerade of Excellence”.

Many thanks to Kelly Brooks for volunteering as Programs VP for the rest of the year.  The council is most grateful to rely upon her past council contributions and prowess in scheduling the rest of 2025.  She is hard at work putting everything into place for our chapter meetings.

Council positions available for self-nomination are President, Programs and Communications.  Jennifer Kowalski has generously volunteered to continue on in the Communications role.  Let me know if you are interested in self-nominating; I’ll be glad to answer your questions.  These are two-year terms on the council, which is a fantastic way to deepen your networking and be recognized as a leader in the industry.  Benefits abound!
